VacBotGuide covers robot vacuums for one reason: the buying process is full of spec-sheet noise. “20,000 Pa” tells you nothing about what lands in the bin, launch reviews repeat the press release, and affiliate-driven “best of” lists are impossible to tell apart from ads.

We started VacBotGuide in 2026 to do the boring work: compare what the manufacturer actually specifies, check what long-term owners report, and — once our test bench is up — measure things ourselves on carpet, tile, and laminate.

How we work

Every recommendation on this site is built from three layers:

1. Manufacturer specifications — the hard data a brand puts in writing, always labeled “per manufacturer specs.”
2. Long-term owner reports — Reddit threads, forum posts, and review patterns that surface months after launch, when the marketing fades.
3. Our own tests — marked “Tested by VacBotGuide” with method and date. The bench is being built; until then, we don’t claim to have tested anything we haven’t.
